The short version of how RainFiles works.
How does the Free plan work?
Create an account and verify your email to get 1 GB of storage. Your Free account has no expiry and needs no card. Free links last up to 15 days. Upgrade whenever you need more storage.
How do I sign in later?
The same way. Enter your email and the code we send you. There is no password to remember.
Is there a limit on file size or type?
Send any file type. Each file must fit your remaining storage: 1 GB total on Free, 250 GB on Drizzle, or 1 TB on Downpour. There is a 5 TiB technical limit per file.
How many files can I send?
There is no transfer or download count cap. Each transfer supports up to 1,000 files, and all stored files together must fit your plan’s storage.
How long does a link stay up?
On Free and Drizzle, choose up to 15 days. Downpour supports links without a scheduled expiry while your plan is active and the files remain stored.
Can my team share one account?
Yes, on Downpour. Add as many team members as you need.
Can I send a link before the files should be opened?
Yes. Set an opening time and the link stays locked until then.
