Initial contact
Identify your organization, authority, jurisdiction, the information sought, the relevant instrument and any deadline or confidentiality requirement. The general form is for initial contact; arrange an appropriate delivery channel before sending confidential legal evidence.
Separate decisions
A request does not by itself authorize disclosure, preservation or a content restriction. Identity, authority, scope and applicable requirements must be assessed separately. A case receipt is not confirmation that a hold or disclosure has been executed.
Urgent matters
The general request form is not a continuously monitored emergency channel. For an immediate danger to life, contact the appropriate emergency services. Customer notification is subject to applicable confidentiality requirements and staff review.
